I did some research on this but couldn't find anything:
Is it possible to display only the date part of a tv of type "date" in the backend? In my current project time isn't needed and would be rather disturbing than helpful. It would be totally ok, if a default time is always stored with the entries, the times aren't in the output either way.

You can hide the date/time combo with Form Customization, but I don't think there's a way to hide just the time without editing the js code for that form. I could be wrong.

So the best way would probably be to modify core/model/modx/processors/element/tv/renders/mgr/input/date.php and the corresponding js in the tpls to interpret a new option "only date", right? I think this is definitly a must have feature for the date tv in modx.
I'll try to integrate this and publish it here, if someone's interested.
I'm sure people will be interested in seeing that.
