Getting logged ot of the admin panel

Hi there. I am a MODx Newbie. Having successfully installed MODx on my webserver which is with Media Temple by the way.

When I log in to the Management Panel, I sometimes get automatically logged out of the site??? Sometimes even without clicking or doing anything. If I want to navigate through the site, I need to log back in to gain access to the section I was in..

Is there anyone that can help with this??

You need to update where your session data is stored. There’s a procedure on MT’s site explaining how to do that. Their recent update to the way the GS works caused this.

I have now been blocked from my account for an unknown reason. I have browsed through and searched through the MT KB and I don’t seem to be able to track anything down. Would you be able to perhaps point me in the right direction??
