    Hello

I am struggling to get a site I have just put live to work on friendly URLs.

I have followed the instructions here as best I can http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Using+Friendly+URLs

The link points to www.mydomain.com/page1.html, which doesn't exist therefore I removed the .html part by editing content types in the settings.

So now its pointing to www.mydomain.com/page1 the resource has the alias 'page1'. The server returns a 404.

Just to be clear I have edited my ht.access file as per the instuctions, changed the system settings to Use Friendly URLs / Use Friendly Alias Path and added <base href="[[!++site_url]]" /> to the head of my template.

    Any suggestions?

    • Did you rename the file to .htaccess? Also can you tell us about the server environment?
