please help me to solve problem when I try to set up log in page

Take a look at the example here: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Login.Basic+Setup.

You have no placeholder to display an error message, which might tell you what's wrong.

HI BobRay,

once again thanks for your help. I just don't know what else should I put there so I could access to the member home page. please help...

thanks.

Add this near the top:

and see if you get an error message.

it still doesn't work. I put this code inside login pages and nothing show up in the next screen after clicking the submit buttons...

Sorry, I'm out of ideas.

I'm also having the same problem. Tried to visit http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Login.Basic+Setup & followed the steps on the basic set up but it's still the same.
Hmm . . .

does anyone know any another website which show the log in page set up inside modx? I really want to solve this problem. if I can't do it in modx, can I set it up manually in php+mysql for log in page?

thx
