I've been asked to upgrade a Modx Evolution installation, and I didn't expect it to be as old of a version as it was. Currently it is 0.9.6.2, and I've been asked to upgrade it to 1.0.5.
Are there any special considerations I need to make when upgrading that far? Should I step up one version at a time or anything like that? I've never upgraded from anything pre-1.0.0 so I figured it was safer to ask and hopefully avoid any issues.

That's a pretty big leap but I would avoid the hassle of stepping through upgrades if possible. Back everything up and try upgrading the backup first, hopefully the content will be ok and then you can sort out any add ons that I'm sure will break.
You are most likely to have issues with snippets or plugins so take a note of what's installed and be prepared to make some tweaks to some of the snippet calls to get everything working when you've upgraded.

Lucas is correct, the biggest issue is going to come from modules, snippets, and plugins written for the older versions. Otherwise you can upgrade directly from 0.9.6.2 > 1.0.5 directly without any major problems.
Okay, thanks for that. It will at least help me prepare that stuff ahead of time.
