Woohoo my website is nearly complete. Only have one more thing to do before I transfer it from mamp to live. And from what I have been reading, that is no simple task :S
Anyway, this is what I need to do. Hopefully someone can help me out or send me in the right direction.
I have a list of products for sale. I want the client to be able to select 2 products that will be featured on the homepage.
I have managed to do this by placing a FEATURED tv into each product. Here they can select whether or not they want the product to be shown on the homepage.
With a TVFILTER (getrESOURCES) on the homepage, this works great. The only snag is that if there are over a thousand products listed, it will be a nightmare for the client to find the product which is featured on the homepage.
So the best way in my opinion is to create a TV on the homepage where the client will be able to select 2 products from a list.
So the question is; how do i go about creating a dropdown menu with a list of all my products, and how do I insert the selected products into the homepage using 'getResources'?
