Hi,
I haven't logged into my "/manager" site for a while and when I go to login the login page just refreshes back to the login page. If I purposefully put in the wrong password a message comes up "wrong password" but with the right username & password I cannot login. When I use the forgot password feature I get an email but the link just takes me back to the login page. Any help would be great

I would really appreciate it anyone could help me at least log into the Modx Manager. From there I'll at least be able to muddle through. I have been into PHPmyadmin on my server and reset my passwords and everything seems OK but I still cannot get past the logon page. HELP!
What version of MODx are you using?
Have you tried to delete the contents if your /cache/ folder and then try to log in?

How did you change the passwords in the database? If you started using MODX at 2.1 or after, you cannot manually set the database passwords for users as it uses a very specific algorithm for hashing them into the database.
One last resort solution might be to install a fresh copy of MODX (same version) somewhere and copy the fields in the modx_users file from that install to the one with the problem. Be sure to check all the fields in the admin record.
That will get you back to where you started. You may still have the problem, but you'll know it's not a problem with the password.
