    I've been playing around with 2.2.0-rc1... it's pretty cool, for sure. I just tried messing around with Form customization for the first time, and it seems this has somehow nuked one of my categories. I have one category into which several TVs and one Template have been placed. But something that I did has caused all elements in that category to disappear. I'm logged in as admin with full permissions, but I cannot see the template, TVs, or the containing category anywhere in the manager. Raw SQL queries do show that these elements still exist, but I can't find them. Is this a bug? Is there anything I can do?

    Thanks!

      Hmmm.... maybe this is nothing, but where does the numerical ID come from for the categories? Even in 2.1.5, I'm seeing that the category ID doesn't seem consistent, e.g. the category under the Templates folder might show up as "My Category (13)", whereas the same category under the Categories folder shows up as "My Category (42)".... where is that number coming from?

        Interestingly, downgrading back to 2.1.5-pl did NOT fix the problem. The category still exists in the database (mysql> select * from revo_categories;), the template variables all exist, the template exists, but the GUI just won't show anything that has anything to do with that category. I even manually deleted all the files from core/cache, but no luck.

          Well, I found where in the database where this was getting set:

          mysql> select * from  modx_access_category;
          +----+--------+-----------------+-----------+-----------+--------+-------------+
          | id | target | principal_class | principal | authority | policy | context_key |
          +----+--------+-----------------+-----------+-----------+--------+-------------+
          |  1 | 7      | modUserGroup    |         2 |      9999 |      4 | mgr         |
          +----+--------+-----------------+-----------+-----------+--------+-------------+
          1 row in set (0.02 sec)

          mysql> select * from modx_categories;
          +----+--------+--------------------+
          | id | parent | category           |
          +----+--------+--------------------+
          |  7 |      6 | Basic              |
          +----+--------+--------------------+
          9 rows in set (0.02 sec)

          Everything in the "Basic" category was not showing up in the manager. Deleting the row from modx_access_category fixed the manager. Not sure why this was obscured from the manager, but after I deleted that row, everything was back to normal. I'm hoping I can reproduce the steps here so I can file a bug report...
