Hi all, hope everyone's having a great experience. I've been reading the MODX: The Official Guide, and have found some great stuff in there I wasn't aware of.
In reference to the "core" directory being suggested to be placed outside the public_html directory for security purposes, I was wondering just how to go about doing that, as far as updating any settings.
I mean I can drag the folder somewhere else, but not sure about any extra modifications that may be needed.
Can anyone shed some light on this, please?
Thanks for buying the book.
Try looking up any of the following in the index:
- - moving, the MODX core directory
- - core, directory (moving)
- - directories, moving the core
Or just see page 421.
Awesome, thanks for making it a great read.
