Really weird thing just happened -
i deleted 2 resources (webpages) from the resource tree, straight after manager interface looses all the css and a message comes up - "other_user is currently editing settings, please try again later", after which it kicked me out of the manager.
Tried logging in several times, under several different usernames, same message keeps coming up!
When i finally managed to login, the manager shows me everything without any css styles, no navbar present etc etc.
Front of the site says "error - too many forward attempts!"
I tried reinstalling the manager over the top, same problem after a successfull installation the site says "cannot load dbapi module" and then Im back to "error too many forward attempts!"
Any ideas how do I fix this and what i causing it?
Standalone server, nothing has changed with config as far as I am aware...
mkay, worked out what happened, one of the developers decided to play with the permissions on the /var/lib/sessions folder.
I think this is what has caused the site to start going crazy. Im just looking at the permissions of this folder but everything seems ok?
Total confusion...
Tried running the install several times, at the end of the installation seems like config.inc.php file gets set to 0 bytes, with no info in it.
When I try and open the manager itself, I can see it trying to load styles from the following folder, which doesnt contain anything?
/manager/media/style/style.css
surely this should be /manager/media/style/MODXcarbon/style.css
wow, i've resolved it - server ran out of space, and this seems to have manifested itself with above symptoms. I was chasing sesson configs when just for the hell of it i deleted a big backup file. Everything kicked back into action straight away.
