    Hi,

    I wanted to know how i can get the nav to show in my test Modx site. I am using Modx Revolution Advanced.

    Soo, I have my basic site setup, just a series of Divs layed out. In my BaseTemplate I have this:

    [[$doctype]]
    [[$header]]
    [[$nav]]
    [[*content]]
    [[$footer]]

    This pulls out all the chunks accordingly and it shows perfectly. Anyway I now want the nav bar to show all the links, such as the pages in my site. In my Resources tab under "web", I have Home and Contact.

    In my nav chunk I just have the HTML markup:

    <div id="navigation">
       <ul>
             //Code to loop through pages here?
       </ul>
    </div>

    What I am not sure about is the code that needs to be put in the <ul> ? I would assume some sort of loop that loops through the Resources? Can anyone please shed some light on this?

    Many thanks,
    Billy

      Go to System > Package Management and download the Wayfinder package.

      That will build your navigation dynamically for you and can be heavily customised. Have a look at the docs here: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Wayfinder
