Quip problems with reversed sorting

Hi!

I'm using Quip as a guestbook on http://www.efflorescos.de/gaestebuch. The newest entry should be on top and it was working fine as I installed it. After some upgrades we recently saw, that I just have the form and no entry at all, when the uppermost entry is a comment on another entry.

What can I do?

I'm having a similar issue I think. I'm trying to create a simple community chat forum. I've got that all working in terms of comments and replies, I'm just having an ordering issue. I'd like this:

reply-A-2-newest
reply-A-1-older

I'm using &sortDir=`DESC` in my Quip call and what I'm getting is:

reply-A-2-newest
reply-B-2-newest
reply-A-1-older
reply-B-1-older
...
comment-B-neweest
comment-A-1-older
...

Any ideas?
