    HI,

I have a question to ask you guy and could you help me to solve this problem? I have a modx site in local host now and would like to set up another website. Do i need to set up another modx to install this website or I could use the existing modx and add a new site somewhere inside? thanks.

What version of MODX? If it's MODX Revolution, you could run it off the same core using contexts, though it complicates things significantly.

If you've got the disk space, I'd recommend just creating another directory under htdocs/ and putting a separate install of MODX there (with its own DB). If it's MODX Evolution, that's your only option.

I'd go with the separate install too, it just keeps things completely separate so you don't have issues when it comes to uploading your site to production (unless that's how your remote server is to be set up too).
