it works much easier then making a MODX plugin by your self.. I'm using it on my own website now.. www.oostdesign.nl <> en.oostdesign.nl (and others)
Does this work with TLDs, or just subdomains?

It works with all hostnames. It just looks to the $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] value.
Sounds like just what I need, but I'm not able to get it to work. I've followed the documentation the best I can but they are not detailed enough.
I 2 contexts and 2 domains.
Both domains are pointed to the same ModX folder on the server.
I added both domains to GalleryManager and pointed to the correct start page for each context.
When i type the second domain into my address bar the new context doesn't load it still displays the original contexts start page.
I noticed in the documentation that I am to enter "http_host, site_url and site_start" but the options I see in GatewayManager are Domain, Context, and Start Page.
Help?!

The settings you're referencing are need to be set inside the context settings. Just click on the left panel on the context (like 'web') and then see the tab 'Context settings'. Here you need to create http_host, site_url and site_start settings.
Hi - this is a fab idea...just can't get it to work. I'm sure I must be missing something obvious.
I've got 2 contexts (one of which is the original default 'web') & 2 domains. Both contexts have got the http_host, site_url & site_start settings they need, and both contexts have been defined as gateways in GatewayManager, with their respective domains - I haven't defined a startpage in the GatewayManager settings, as these are defined in their respective context settings.
But both domains still display the same start page, namely the site_start of the original default context.
I've tried everything I can think of to get it working, but without luck.
Environment is Revo2.2.0-pl2 running on Linux, PHP5.2.17, MySQL 5.0.92.
Can anyone suggest an answer?
Thanks,
Phil

Do you have set the right permissions on the contexts?
I think he's redirecting to id 1 (homepage of web) because that one is setupped as error (404) page.
