accessing pages via index.php?q=aliasname

Hi,

I am currently trying to configure a website which we are rewriting some urls to a specific page in MODx I have spent a few hours today trying to get this to work however I have now discovered that when I try to access any page in MODx by doing

/index.php?q=page_alias_name

i.e.

/index.php?q=about-us

The page just loads the home page, this used to work in evolution is there something broke with my install or has this changed in Revolution?

Hi, I just posted a similar question with a differend problem.

My problem was that modx automatically added .html to my alias...

Try: /index.php?q=page_alias_name.html OR www.domain.com/page_alias_name.html

I also tried that but it does not work, I have now tried it on a few revolution sites and get the same.

What have you done to rewrite the urls, want to post your .htaccess code?

This works for me on latest. What version Aaron?
