    Hi Everybody,

I do have problems with Quickmanager and Maxigallery.
I like to focus first on Quickmanager, but both problems seems to be connectet.

    Which is the actual "Thing"?

I never used Quickmanager/Quickedit myself, so I only noticed it now, because I client told me (when we were trying to solve a Maxigallery-Problem)
The complete system startet 4 years ago, and I found a Quickmanager Modul, a Quickmanager Plugin (V: 1.5.5) and a QuickEdit Plugin.
Im a little bit confused which is the actual one. And I couldnt find it in the "extras" or "core extensions" (or is it this one http://modx.com/extras/package/quim?)

    "The Problem"
Sometimes its there, sometimes not. I sorry, but I cannot describe it better. Right now its not available anywhere, after I tried to deactivate every Modul/Plugin to solve my problem. I set everything back, but: Nothing

So I guess, before I go on here with descriptions I need help for using the right Quickmanager. Right?
So which is the right one and how do I remove the others?

    Thanks

    Nudi

QuickManager+ front-end editing plugin is bundled with default MODX Evolution installation package. QuickEdit is a very old / deprecated front-end editing plugin/module (from MODX 0.96 and earlier) => I don't recommend to use it anymore.

If you can't find QuickManager+ from MODX extras you can always download it from here: http://www.maagit.fi/modx/quickmanager-plus

QuickManager+ has nothing to do with MaxiGallery though.

True, QM has nothing to do with MaxiGallery, but I do believe MaxiGallery is dependent on the Mootools javascript library, while QM uses JQuery. It may be necessary to configure the QuickManger plugin to load JQuery in "no-conflict" mode so it won't conflict with the Mootools library.

          Hi Maagit,

thanks for the fast reply. OK thats what I thought about Quickedit and I completly disactivated it. But its not changing anything. I have the actual version 1.5.5 - and by the way I already found it in the extras, but there is something wrong, see picture smiley
I now found out, its working if I choose the preview from the backend by right click on the document. Is that right? Because before ( the last years) it was always there if I have the frontend open in a parallel window.

QuickManager+ has nothing to do with MaxiGallery though.
Yeah I know that, but in the beginning the problems seem related. If the buttons from maxigallery "manage pictures" vanished, the quickmanager+ also wasn't there.

Oh, i just tested, if i call the preview from the document three in the backend, I have Quickmanager and the maxigallery-button. But as soon as I want to manage / click the maxigallery-button, both vanishes.

          Any Idea for the reason?

          Thank you
