Hi I know this was really a dumb thing to do, I was distracted with family stuff and I have a whole bunch of dumb excuses to go with it.
I deleted the main administrator via phpMyAdmin [/smacking myself in the back of the head]
So i tried uploading the setup folder to see if an advanced upgrade would let me create the admin again but no luck.
What can I do?
I already have a lot of work put into this site (about three weeks worth) and it would really be a big setback if I lost it all.
Smack me all you want and call me names, (I most probably deserve it) :S
Can I just create a basic user in phpMyAdmin from scratch just so I can get in with admin privileges? If so, which would be the main fields to fill in? I can generate a md5 hash for the password, would that help?
Thanks.
Using Revo 2.1.3
That's a real unfortunate situation but it did make me laugh! This coming from a guy who spent the last hour updating the wrong server and wondering why the changes weren't showing... it's late.
I think it's been suggested before to install modx again in another folder, create a login and password then go into the db and copy all the fields for that user account to your 'locked out' database.
Give it a try and report back.
LOL that was it, I just copied the user from another site and that did the trick, thank you so much.
Stuff like this doesn't happen so often, but when it does, I seem to drown in the proverbial glass of water and sometimes can't figure out the obvious.
Thanks again Lucas, great help!

Backup, backup, backup.
Then all you have to do is grab the relevant "insert into" rows from the backup .sql file and run them in your phpMyAdmin.
Definitely will start to back up more often XD
... and being a tad more careful as well.
