    hello community,

I have a form using formit (v.2.0.1) and formitbuilder (v 0.1.6). At least in this combination strings I load from my lexicon, whose values are stored as utf8 in my utf8 database are not displayed correctly. is there any way to "enable" utf8 here? any charset settings?

    help much appreciated.
    thank you!

Check the DB in PhpMyAdmin and make sure that the character set of all the individual tables and fields matches the setting in core/config/config.inc.php.

      If not, see this: http://bobsguides.com/convert-db-utf8.html

There was a bug in the 0.1.6 version of formitbuilder that was escaping things incorrectly.
Please upgrade to 0.1.7 and see how you go.

That being said I submitted a new version or formitbuilder 0.1.8 and it has been 24 hours since I sent it in. Still no approval.
How long does it normally take to get a new version approved?

Thank you BobRay for the idea.

I guess marcushouse may be right and the issue resolved, although I cannot confirm because I stopped using formit and formitbuilder alltogether. Writing my own form-markup and -processing took me less time than dealing with the bug at this point.
