I am looking after and sorting out existing problems on a website built with MODx by somebody else.
There is a 'news' page which has 5 news items on a page which you can then click on. You can also press the 'Next' button to go to the next 5 items. The trouble is I am told this feature has never worked from the day the website was built. You press the Next button and it does not go to the next page with the next 5 news items. The end of the browser window title changes from /news to /news?start=5 fine but it does not do anything else than that.
The menu index for the news items has random numbers attached to each news item and quite a few had the same numbers. I have sorted this out so they are in an order. 'Show in menu' is also ticked. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to sort this out so it does all work?
Thanks.
