Unpublished Resource is Visible Public - Only in Some Contexts

I noticed today that unpublished pages in one context are visible even though I logout or browse from another browser.

I checked all the contexts. 4 context have no problem, but 2 contexts do show URLs even though they are unpublished.

Any ideas what the problem could be. Where should I check in the contexts that have the problem.

I have MODX Revolution 2.1.3-pl (traditional).

If you are browsing the site with a manager session that has view_unpublished permission, you will see unpublished pages in a Context. Otherwise, unless you have give anonymous users this permission to specific Contexts, no one should be able to access them without the manager session.

I log out, so no manager session, but the unpublished page is visible.

I also try from another browser, it is visible.

I have not given any permission to anyone, there is no groups or any permissions defined. it is all default values that comes with modx installation.

As I said, there are 6 contexts, four works right, but 2 has problem for public viewing. It is strange that it occurs only in some contexts.

Actually, there is also another problem. if a resource is not checked as published, you can't view (preview) it even though you are logged in. An unpublished page is only viewable in WEB context and in 2 problem contexts. But in other contexts, you can't view it.

The situation is:

- WEB context -
unpublished page is viewable in manager session - OK
unpublished page is NOT viewable in public - OK

- 3 contexts -->
unpublished page is NOT viewable in manager session - Problem
unpublished page is NOT viewable in public - OK

- 2 contexts -->
unpublished page is viewable in manager session - OK
unpublished page IS viewable in public - Problem

Both cases is working correct as it should be in WEB context but other contexts has problems.

Unless they are all on the same domain, you can't view unpublished on a different domain from the manager session without logging in to that context.

I am not sure if I understand you. What do you mean by "logging in to that context". Is this something different than logging in to modx manager?

All web and other five contexts are different domains.

Do you mean if a context is in a different domain, then there is no way to preview an unpublished resource even when you are logged in to modx manager?

Even if this is the case, there are 2 contexts, and they are showing unpublished resources to public. Is this normal? 3 contexts don't have this behavior.

It is easy to live without being able to view an unpublished page in a context, but other case, the "unpublished page IS viewable in public" is little problem.


Isn't this a bug? Any ideas, where I can look for this different behavior in some context?
