    Hi

Well i received the big MODX book today and have browsed the forums for an answer to my question but have had no luck.

All i want to do is to set the users resource browser to a folder in the root of the site to 'uploads/'
I have set up this file structure (all permissions set to 777):
    uploads:
    - images
    - files
    - media
    - flash

    In System setings i have:
    - filemanager_path - uploads/
    - filemanager_url - uploads/

As a super admin user when i go to insert an image the resource browser displays all sub directories.

However when i log in as an 'Editor' user i can only see the root of my uploads directory and not the sub-directories.
Do i need to do something else so these sub-directories can be seen be everyone?

    thanks for any help

      Hi J,
you may want to check your Editors Access Policy:
Security > Access Controls > Access Policies > (Editor?)

See if permissons like these are checked:
      directory_list
      file_list
      file_remove
      file_update
      file_upload
      file_view

These may not be all, but if these are not checked, your editor just has no permission to do upload, delete or even view files or directories.
