getResources - iterate loop count in template

Is it possible to have getResources output the current loop count within the resource template chunk?

For example, if I wanted to create special CSS classes based on where a resource is in the results can I set up a resource template like:

<div class="blogPost item_[[+loopnumber]]">
  <h2>[[+pagetitle]]</h2>
  <p><a href="[[~[[+id]]]]">Read more</a></p>
</div>

This would allow me to have CSS classes for "item_1", "item_2", etc. I know I can use tplFirst, tplLast and tpl_N. For this project it would be much simpler to make adjustments to the stylesheet than to have numerous resource template chunks.

See the idx property described here. You can use it as you suggest.

Perfect! I overlooked that in the documentation.

For anyone else who sees this thread the solution for my above example was to set up the resource template chunk like this:

<div class="blogPost item_[[+idx]]">
  <h2>[[+pagetitle]]</h2>
  <p><a href="[[~[[+id]]]]">Read more</a></p>
</div>
