    What did you mean by accented characters ?

    I already tried removing Formit, but it didn't help either.

    Ok, guess I will have to resort to FormMail.php

    But thanks for all suggestions.

      Looks like you're not alone - I'm having similar problems see the start of my thread

      https://forums.modx.com/thread/72282/formit-validate-problem#dis-post-402277

      Try removing &emailSubject and &submitVar - without these my form does send, but it's obviously not working quite right...

        Are you using modx-boilerplate by any chance? I found this call in the head tags seemed to interfer with FormIt - have now remved the snippet calls and all works as it should.

        <meta name="description" content="[[*introtext:empty=`[[*content:strip_tags]]`:limit=`200`]]">
        <meta name="author" content="[[If? &subject=`[[*publishedby]]` &operator=`>` &operand=`0` &then=`[[*publishedby:userinfo=`fullname`]]` &else=`[[*createdby:userinfo=`fullname`]]`]]" />
        <meta name="keywords" content="" />

        Not sure what the conflict is, but everything is working as expected..

          Same problems here, removing meta tags and validation does not work...

          I do use Contexts to change the site base_url... is this the problem?

            No, not using modx-boilerplate. But I understand that this was the prbolem in your cass ?

            Context usage seems to be problem, all other sites where I use formit with same call works great.

            I actually ended - up using formmail.php script instead of formit ..

                ^ that meta tag is not closed, could be a cascading error causing a form not to post properly, perhaps? Can you see the actual post request with Firebug / dev tools?

                  @DESIGNfromWITHIN:

                  When you define &submitVar=`submit`, you need to make sure a field with name="submit" is in the form as well. I've tested your code, and when I add name="submit" to your submit button it works fine.

                      Ok fixed!
                      I needed to change my context site_url's to:

                      http://anyscreensize.com/
                      http://anyscreensize.com/nl/
                      and NOT:

                      http://www.anyscreensize.com/
                      http://www.anyscreensize.com/nl/

                      This becouse my .htacces has:

                      # Rewrite www.domain.com -> domain.com -- used with SEO Strict URLs plugin
