    Hi!
I have two strange files in the root of my Modx site. Both have names that begin with "core." and end with a long number.

They don’t appear to be hurting anything, but they’re fairly large, like 71 megs. I have made a lot of changes in the past few days. I wonder if it’s some kind of File Dung. Maybe if I get really crazy I’ll open one and look.

My site is working fine. Ever seen anything like this?

    Thanks!

Something internal to your server environment is failing, and this is the result. It has nothing to do with MODx.

          Doze,
          Thanks!

Based on the date, I think I know what happened. This probably relates to my other post under "9.5 issues". I installed 9.5 over my 9.2 system, and then I tried doing some testing with the datagrid, which produced very strange results, even using the simple TV suggested in the documentation.

I have one of those suckers open in my editor, and sure enough, there are references to my ModX installation and the datagrid. But I don’t know how to read hex, so I guess I’ll just remain in the dark. My usual crude method of bug-finding, doing displays, will probably wreak havoc on the server again, so I guess I’ll continue to use 9.2, and let some better PHP programmer put the Datagrid through its paces with the newer code!

I wish there was some way to do a minimal upgrade, maybe just biggest security bugs or something. But then I woke up! grin

          Cheers, D
