    I have imported aprox. 7,000 resources in a products folder.

    FURLs are working good with the exception when the alias contains the character /
    Example:

    pagetitle: DICLOWAL AMP. 75mg. 3ml./BLISTER 10

    auto-generated alias: diclowal-amp.-75mg.-3ml./blister-10

    Im getting 404 errors.

    From here i have some options.

    • Find a way to get rid of the / character in the alias. (And run this in all the records already imported)
    • Disable FURLs in that folder especifically. (not the entire site)

    I need some recommetations on what to do.
    Thanks in advance.

    The site is in spanish and im already using transalias to get rid of accents. [ed. note: lithiumlab last edited this post 14 years, 11 months ago.]

      I'm not having any trouble using forward slashes in the alias field; the Resources are accessible as expected, e.g. for an HTML Resource where the content type extension is set to ".html":

      alias = "my/alias/with/virtual/path"
      uri = "my/alias/with/virtual/path.html"

      And it is accessible as expected in the site via FURLs.

      I tested this on 2.1.3-pl, 2.1.4-dev (about to be released), and 2.2.0-dev.

        Maybe have something to do with extension-less setting like mine?
        I'm running 2.1.3-pl

        I can confirm is not always the / character since some other resources with forward slashes in the pagetitle are working good. Still can figure out the pattern causing the 404 errors but asume near 5% of the the pages are failing right now for some kind of pattern in the alias.

        Thanks for the info. [ed. note: lithiumlab last edited this post 14 years, 11 months ago.]
