I'm trying to find out if it's possible (easily) to extend the Login - UpdateProfile snippet to work with any user, rather than just the active logged in user. The Login - Profile snippet can display any user by simply adding the &user=`` option in the snippet call, but the UpdateProfile snippet does not have that option.
I think I could probably hack the code, but I'd rather see if there is a hook or option i can use instead.

Did you get anywhere with this? I'd like some way of checking and activating users from the front end. So this is something that would be useful.
