Hello,
I am trying to use a resource group to show only a sub folder and nothing else. However it does not work and when I go back in to edit it, the sub folder is gone or not show under the resource group. Once I delete the resource group, it appears. I can however restrict based on the top level folder with no problems at all.
I am using modx 2.1.3-pl on a lamp machine. If you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

If you protect a resource group, you won't see the resources in the tree unless the admin is a member of the user group that has access to it.
Add yourself to the group with a role of super user.
Thanks I added myself to the group and I now see the resource, works perfect. Can't wait for the book.
