getting 404 page for new and duplicated resources

hi

I am struggling with a new error, one which I haven't encountered till now
now whenever creating a new resource or duplicating an existing one, I get 404 page when viewing it and strangely all other pages created previously are OK
it is very strange since for ex a duplicated page inherits all properties and I even checked all settings, besides I am logged in as admin so I wouldn't blame any permission related issue

any idea what it might cause?

I'm using MODX Revo vers 2.1.3-pl (advanced)

Do they happen to have the same alias? Are you using friendly URLs? More information needed.

yes opengeek, I am using friendly URL and different alias for each resource but symlinks which are under different subcategories
