Hello, i hope this is the right form for this.

I have a Modx Evolution website for about 2 years now. But i get now strange errors when i'm trying to go to a page on my iPad. When i go to a subdirectory like www.oldvwmania.nl/contact/contact.html it sometimes works. But the most time i get an Modx Parser error that said: "error retrieving template".

When i visit the same page at my laptop or a other pc it gives no errors. And sometimes it gives even no errors on my iPad.

Other pages like; www.oldvwmania.nl/roy/index.html don't load on my iPad!

Can somebody please tell me where this is about?

    Modx version: 1.0.4
my basic website use a different template like oldvwmania.nl/roy so it's not the template i guess.
      Greatings,

What sinppets you are using on that page?

Is there any plugin being used for automatic template switching etc?

I use on that pages a ditto call to include the content of that map. And what's wrong with www.oldvwmania.nl/roy/index.html i don't know. There only the blog part uses ditto.

It look as if your base element is not set. This will cause problems in some browsers where your url paths won't work properly. This would likely cause problems in Internet Explorer too. I'd add that in and see if things are working again.

i think the base call is not the problem. it's something else. but i don't know what.
have this basecall: <base href="[(site_url)]"></base> and tried this one too: <base href="[(site_url)]" /> [ed. note: oldvwmania last edited this post 14 years, 11 months ago.]

It was an styles witcher or something, i hope this was the last error.

MODX by default, doesn't know if the device is desktop or mobile. Hence, my first reply to this thread. smiley ... May be you missed that?
