New problems

I have been learning Modx off and on now for a while and I really love it as a CMS. I was looking at starting a new project today which always makes me catch my domain up to date. I was on Revo 2.0.8 and decided to update to Revo 2.1.3. Like I always do, I grabbed the new download and extracted it to my root and ran the setup. I ran through all of the options and it kept getting stuck on the Safe_mode check. Not a problem in the past. I just to the forums and look for some answers and I think I have found that the version I was running did not check for it (2.08) but the new one does. I found a work around and I got it installed but I keep having issues. The package manager is not working the way it is suppose to. I have installed and reinstalled and I am currently down. Help!

Can you tell us more about your hosting (provider and/or server configuration)? Generally install errors should be corrected, so it sounds like something changed on your server(s).

I have made some changes in a custom php.ini file that I am working now since reading this from my hosting company.

I had a phpinfo file that I can provide info out of if I know what you need. I think it contains to much to post as is.
