Repeating content on a page

Back again with another question I’m afraid!

Basically I’m setting up a page with a list of clients on, with a picture and some blurb next to it about the client. Then some links to documents etc.

Each client "block" is going to have the same layout and formatting. All that will change is the picture and the blurb.

The part I’m getting stuck on is how to make this editable inside the manager. I want to add clients over time, so i will be adding the same block over and over again, how do i make these editable separately?

I will be inserting a chunk into a page,one for each client. In these chunks i have TV’s which can then be edited. If i insert this chunk more than once, surly that means that TV’s will have the same name will be clashing with each other?

Sorry if this sounds confusing, I’m sure there is simple solution.

Ditto is the solution. Make each client a new document within a container with the TV’s filled out there. Then use Ditto on the client page to show everything exactly as you describe. Make sure you use Ditto 2 as its TV handling is much better than Ditto 1.

Thats great Mark, Everything is nearly up and running, just a few questions. This is how i have it setup at the moment. I have created a container document (10), and inside this the clients are contained.

I have then created a standard client template, with a set of template variables for some text, links and an image. Each client page that is created is based on this template and the variables changed accordingly.

Now this is alll inserted into the page using



This bring in a chunk called clientTemplate. In this chunk the template variables are called.

Is this the correct way i should be doing this? At the moment i seem to be having problems with calling the TV’s from inside the chunk.
