    HI All,

I'm looking to make sure that you CANT edit PHP files from within the "Mange Files" section of the manager on an EVO 1.0.5 install. The file permissions on all PHP files are set to 0644, but they can be edited from within the manager. I'm also using suPHP so that no folders ever need to be set to 0777.

How would I go about ensuring that PHP files are un-editable in the manager?

    Let me know!

Since suPHP changes the user to the owner, all you can do is use your FTP client to make the files read-only for everyone, and if you do need to edit them use your FTP client to change permission to allow the owner to write, do the editing, then change the permission back again.
