modx + adaptive images?

Would a drop-in solution like Adaptive Images work well with modx?

It modifies the .htaccess file and uses php, so my intuition says there might be some sharks in these waters.

I was unable to find anything on this in previous threads, but please link me if you recall anything similar being discussed.

Should be possible. You have to take care with .htaccess config but it should work.
