Column "comment" on user_attributes table?

Hi all,

I need an additional 'searchable' data for user profile. Avoid extending modUser, I look into user_attributes table and found empty comment column that suit my need.

Just want to know...
Does MODx use this column or store any data on it? Can I use it for other purpose?

After searching throughout the core, I think it's safe to use comment column for my own purpose.

Actually, AFAIK, you can use all the user_attribute fields except 'id' and 'email' any way you want.
