    Hi,

I have this problem, when using Modx Revo 2.08

    1. I created a TV, using richtext, and apply it to my template
    2. then in my document, i copy my html into tinymce, html box.
    3. I save it, and it would not save. They saving progress bar just run indefinately

I tried, using HTML input & Richtext input, neither which work.

I tried, just typing random text into the richtext box, if it is just 1 line of text, it will save with no problem, but when it gets to more than a single line it won't save.

I tested using textarea input in the tv, if i input just text without any html tag, it will save. The moment i add a html tag eg <p></p> it won't save again.

I copy the html tag i wish to input the tv and paste it into the document content box and it will save with no problem at all.

Any idea what is wrong ? i check the log and it does not register inside modx log

        Hi Bob, thanks,

i look at the issue on mod_security, i don't think this is the issue, mod_security should affect the whole website. I have another earlier installation of modx, a evo 1.01 version, and i have no problem updating the document with the html code. I am only having problem with this particular installation.

I could be wrong, so i tried following the guide and added the suggested line in the modx wiki. I get a server configuration error for any of those line.

        Not sure why thought

It's possible that your host doesn't allow that. You might ask the host about mod_security.

The only other things I can think of are deleting all files in the core/cache directory, and if that doesn't work, deleting and removing TinyMCE, then re-downloading and re-installing it.
