    My galleryitem TV outputs out the following when I use +tv.my_galitemTV
    "gal_src":"/modx/assets/components/gallery/files/2/15.jpg","gal_id":15,"gal_name":"canda003.jpg","gal_filename":"2/15.jpg","gal_description":null,"gal_mediatype":"image","gal_url":null,"gal_createdon":"2011-09-29 18:23:55","gal_createdby":1,"gal_active":1,"gal_duration":"","gal_streamer":null,"gal_watermark_pos":"tl","gal_image_width":190,"gal_image_height":143,"gal_image_type":2,
    and so on and so forth

    How can I use just one part of this output to display the image/galitem? Preferably what I need is the gal_src parsed into an html image tag (src="gal_src")

    I have gathered that it is no sweat using the custom galleryitem tv in a resources contents field, but since I am using this with a getResources call, I need something else.

      Having done some research the last couple of hours, I have found that phpthumbof might be able to sort this out for me. Trying to set this up now.

      Feel free to stop me, if you think I am on the wrong or otherwise long-winded track.

        I guess I found the solution I wanted.

        I use phpThumbOf to modify an image TV

        I was unable to make the galleryitem TV work in this way though, but I think a normal Image TV will do the job fine.

          If you are using the TV in a getResources list, remember to use the correct combination of this parameters in the call:

          &includeTVs
          &includeTVList
          &processTVs
          &processTVList

            Thanks.

            But how do you specify this when using the new "Articles" plugin?

            I seem only to get the whole parse output when including galleryitem TVs to ArticleRowTpl
