    Help!!!

I’ve tried this on a couple of different sites that i’ve done with Modx now.

I’ve create a document security type, then assigned it so that only registered users can see it. Then created a couple of document with the secure document type. Then made a link on a public document to the secure documents.
When you click on the links with out being login to the front end you get a browser box pop up with:
    Firefox box:
    Authentication requestion
Enter username and password for "" at www.domainname.com
Then prompts for username and password.
    IE message:
    Connecting to www.domainname.com
Then prompts for username and password.

If you type in a valid front-end or back-end username and password nothing happens, just keeps prompting you. If you cancel I then get the Modx login page. I would like to be able to find a way to go straight to the modx login page, instead of the broswer login box that doesn’t work. Or to find a way so that the browser box works.

I’m sure that it most be a problem with IIS as my local Apache server works fine.

Please, please help as I need to get sites up and working with this. Goto http://www.martinbullivant.com/modx/index.php?id=54 to see what I’m talking about.

Sorry if this has been answered but I’ve searched through the forum as best I can.

    I’m on shared hosting.
    IIS server,
Windows NT BORON 5.2 build 3790,
    PHP 5,
    Modx version 0.9.5
