modx_log_visitors

I run MODX 0.9.5 on a site with 3000 visitors a day.
I have Log Visits turned off, but keep getting a message from my host complaining about the size of the Database.
This time it was 756Mb!
Nearly all was the modx_log_visitors table.
Any idea how to stop this?

0.9.5 doesn’t even have that table, the built-in visitor logging was removed altogether. Is this an upgrade?

Are you sure that wasn’t from the "event_log" table?

It was an upgrade from 0.9.2
I previously had a warning message about exceeding the100Mb database limit from my host and turned the logging off.
When I checked this time it was still set to No but the Data Size in the modx_log_visitors table was 756MB.
I’ve turned the logging on and off again and in the last few hours no records have been added.
I checked with Google Analytics and there have been about 200 visitor per hour so maybe it’s fixed!
How strange, none of my other sites are logging any visits.
This is the same site that Heart Internet reported too many concurrent processes on a few weeks ago that prompted me to upgrade to 0.9.5 after advice from you and Jason http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,12437.msg82800.html#msg82800
I didn’t used to get the Database warning on 0.9.2
Suppose I’d better keep an eye on it and see what happens.
