Advanced Product Search in Revo? Need some help

I'm working on moving my site from Modx Evo to Revo and I'm running into some trouble with finding accommodations for some of the snippets/plugins I used in Evo.

In Evo, I used tvExplorer to create an advanced search based on the TVs of a bunch of product pages. Users on the front end are able to select from various criteria and have a list of products returned. It works fine, albeit a bit slowly at times as there are a few hundred products. Each product has a landing page and a few descriptive sub-pages so it is quite bulky.

I'm currently looking for the means to accomplish something similar to this in Revo but it doesn't seem as if there are any existing plugins for an advanced search.

I ran across some posts recommending the creation of a custom table and an advanced search from scratch. Is this the direction I should be heading?

Have you looked at AdvSearch ?

Look at the faceted search demos on the demo site too. With queryHook you should find a solution. But never tested with a few hundred products.

This does look like what I'm looking for. I'll give it a shot. Thank you!
