    I am calling an image in a template with the basic standard tag call (can't write it here otherwise the forum software tries to parse it!) and the path comes out like

    <img src="assets/assets/images/folio/frontpage/1aa.jpg">

    instead of

    <img src="/assets/images/folio/frontpage/1aa.jpg">

    So it's adding an "assets" at the beginning. Where is the setting to change this? I've had a look in config.inc.php and played with some of the path settings but no cigar...

      Any ideas? I've tried modifying many parameters in all sorts of x.inc.php files.

        You can post code, if you enclose it in code tags:
        "code" "/code" enclosed in square brackets

        It probably would help to know your setup.
        But maybe you could also try checking the input options of your image TV. When you selected "image" as input option, maybe the "relative path/url" settings got mixed up? (Presuming of course you are using 2.1.3)

        Otherwise that code might help.

          I agree with 'itWillBeOk' - It sounds like a base path error somewhere. I think I had a similar problem some time ago and it turned out to be the global "file_manager_path" value. To find it, go to "System -> Site Settings", and select the "File System" category.

          I think I had to set mine to something like "/assets/" to get it to play ball, but check the base_path on your image template variable first because from my experience, MODX usually works with default settings - usually when I have to edit core settings to fix 'errors', I normally find later that it was just something silly that I'd got wrong elsewhere.

          If you're still having trouble, post some more info about your setup smiley
