Is it possible to get ditto to rank by popularity?

Is it possible to get ditto to rank by popularity? I hope someone can help me. I am trying to replicate a system like that found at http://www.newmarket.co.nz/19/directory_listing/29/page/0/sort/2

I was thinking that if there was some sort of counter TV that counted up every time a button is pressed, then I could rank by that TV. However I don't know if such a TV exists.

You would have to create your own TV and write code to set update it when the button is pressed. Then Ditto could sort by that TV.
