News and Events thingy

Trying to create a scrolling news and events element for a home page. Need some input on the easiest way to go about developing this.

Requirements:

Revo
Only display the 6 latest posts
Only two articles per news-holder

Here is the basic markup for the element:

getResources would do the trick, just put one call in each slide. Some extra work and you could likely fully automate it.
