It has been a while since I logged in. I now find, apparently, that while my old account exists, the password reminder does not work. I've had to create a new account; I check my old account, and the public profile is completely messed up. *wrong gender; never logged in; registered in 1969; etc. Is this just me, or are all the old accounts messed up and everyone had to re-register?

I had to use Google to resolve this. Some upfront information would have been nice.
I now have a different user name. Did it have to be this way, or did I miss something? It doesn't matter.
