    generaly it works fantastic, but..

it ccannot be used if you have dynamic content on the page (for example - switching content after user logs in - after login you still see cached pages from before login)

just after launching it I was blown away - what a speed!! but then.. i logged in to front end and... disappointment. Still, for users that have mostly static content - it is fantastic plugin

This is brilliant! Exactly what I needed!

The only issue i have is first load is stupidly slow, after each page has been viewed once it's extremely fast for all users.

Is there any way to speed up this first load?

Obviously with a small site its feasible to quickly run each page of the website to ensure its cached, but with a site containing a few 100 pages its now.

Unfortunately no it can't help the first page load. Have you looked at xFPC: http://modx.com/extras/package/xfpc. It may be a better option.

Seem to have the same issue with xFPC. Once the page is cached its almost instant, but if its not already been cached its extremely slow..

Old thread I know but the way I get around first page load being slow is by using Bob Ray's RefreshCache. May not be ideal for every set of circumstances but it rebuilds the cache on sites of sub 100 pages for me in less than a minute.
