    I’ve set site configuration cacheable by default to no and set all documents to not be cacheable. I still have to clear the cache to see updates to some pages, primarily pages using ditto to display other documents.

    How can I disable the site cache entirely so no page is ever cached and every page is always recreated?

      There is a plugin somewhere on the forums that does just that. I believe it has this in it:
      $modx->documentObject['cacheable'] = 0;

        ive tried searching for such a plugin and could not find anything. i dont understand, i’ve already set all the documents to not be cacheable so wouldn’t $modx->documentObject[’cacheable’] already equal 0 for them?

          Is this happening primarily on pages with Ditto calls, or exclusively on pages with Ditto calls?

          If it’s only happening there, are you calling the Ditto snippet uncached? I think that Ditto’s templating system is somewhat new and different, and if this is purely a Ditto issue and calling it uncahced doesn’t help then you may want to create a new post in the Ditto forums. I can imagine that its caching may be a bit more complex because of the various steps through the parser (loading template chunks, setting placeholder values, etc.).

          Although I have to say, in my experience I’ve never had to clear the site cache to view changes in Ditto-generated content (which at least means that your problem must have a solution - probably a simple one, too)...
