    Hi,

I'm working on modx site. I've developed it offline first, then moved it online. One thing I noticed is that the gallery renders the thumbnail online different from offline.

I have the following set when calling images from a gallery: &thumbWidth=`164` &thumbHeight=`138` and in an other call: &thumbWidth=`100` &thumbHeight=`100`.

Offline, the thumbs are as given above, but online, the thumbs are according to the given width but never the height. They are, however, in the correct aspect ratio.

What the gallery doesn't seen to do online is add white top/bottom/left/right parts where the actual image stops. But online/offline versions are exactly the same.

Here's an example of one of my gallery calls:
    [/[!Gallery? &album=`Portfolio logo's` &thumbTpl=`homeBrandsThumb` &thumbWidth=`164` &thumbHeight=`138` &thumbZoomCrop=`0`]/]

    So, what's wrong here?

Just as a random outside idea in case you haven't solved this...

I notice some 'thumbZoomCrop' action going on there - could this be a difference in the 'Graphics Library' on the two systems?

Like one has ImageMagick, and one doesn't?

Without looking at it in situ, its hard to say, but if the bordering effect isn't working on one server, it may be a difference to investigate…

On the command line of both boxes can you use 'convert'?

I managed to solve it by setting the lineheigt in the css to thumbHeight. This is a better sollution for me. I won't get white backgrounds/fill colors and the image is centered vertically.

        Thanks for the reply though.
