I work for a hosting company. One of our customers has a modx site that was developed by someone else.

Recently due to upgrades on our server we needed to upgrade their modx install from .9 version to revolution. For the most part everything seemed find.

They are now having an issue where links are not working and any quotes (single or double) get escaped with a \. I thought it might be tinyMCE that was the problem so I shut it off and it did help a little, althought not much. If you save any document with quotes in it just a couple of times you will end up with a page full of \\\\\\. Is there a way to stop that?

I am new to these boards and I am not sure if I will recieve notification to my e-mail when this is answered. The menus at the top of this page are a mess as well.

One thing I forgot to add to my post, it appears that the system is escaping the escape character.

Turning off magic_quotes_gpc is almost certainly the solution.
