Easiest way to change base path MODx Revolution

Hello!
My Revo instalation is here: www.mysite.com/new/
and i want to change directory to this: www.mysite.com/

Which is the easiest way to do that?
Doing steps like moving site to a new server is painful process. Isnt there around way?

Simple redirect is not acceptable.

MODx 2.1.3-pl
Apache:2.2.17
PHP: 5.2.16
MySQL:5.0.92

Those steps are required for now; you can alternatively upload the setup directory after moving it to the new location and run it in upgrade mode.

Thank You!
