How To Mix Snippets Into Javascript?

Hi

I have a chunk containing script, which calls a snippet:

<script language="javascript">
<!--
	slideshow.images = [ [[!JuriRotator]] ];
	slideshow.interval = 5;
	slideshow.fade = 600;
//-->
</script>

the resulting html page source contains:

<script language="javascript"> 
<!--
	slideshow.images = [  ];
	slideshow.interval = 5;
	slideshow.fade = 600;
//-->
</script>

what am i doing wrong?
