    Hi All,
You would think a simple how-to would get me started setting up a blog in Modx eh? Well no.

I’m just getting started with Modx and as of yet found everything rather easy to setup and customize (eforms for example were quite simple for me). Sadly, I seem to be struggling with setting up a simple blog!

    So far, I’ve tried:
    http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Basic_Blog

    and

    http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Creating_a_Blog_like_in_the_Default_Content

Both without luck. I’m getting the "array_values() [function.array-values]: The argument should be an array" error which I’ve read means that I need to create a post first. However, when I go to the post page that I defined, the site is rendered without a form, and without the site css. If I try to create the page manually in the admin client, nothing happens.

I’m sure it is something very foolish that I am missing. Thanks in advance to the kind soul who can lend me a hand!

    Thanks,

    Geoffrey

          Hi there,
Thanks for the tip, but I mentioned in my original post that I had tried that step already.

I grew frustrated then tried upgrading to the latest build of ditto from subversion. Remarkably, my blog sprung to life.

So it works now, but I’m still a bit frustrated that I was not able to get it working with the version of ditto shipped in 0.9.5.
